What a commission costs
Figures below are in Thai baht and describe how we quote. A letter, sent after we know where the slips are kept, confirms the fee for your library. The deposit, when a commission is agreed, is paid by bank transfer using the details in that letter.
Visits inside Bangkok are included in the figures. A library outside the city is quoted with the rail fare or a hired car before you confirm the day. Extra copies of a folio, a second branch, or a second year of slips are named before work starts.

Deposit and the balance
An atlas, a holds-shelf reading, or a chart hour is reserved with a deposit of thirty percent of the confirmed fee. The balance is due when the folio, booklet, or sitting is delivered. A desk watch is paid in full when the day is confirmed, because the day itself is the work.
What the starting figure assumes
For an atlas, we assume the season’s slips can be gathered into one room, a librarian can explain Thai or English column headings, and the briefing is held in your meeting room inside Bangkok. If the slips are split across three cupboards, the weeks lengthen and the quote rises. We would rather say that in the letter than discover it on the first morning.
Paper and binding for the agreed number of copies are included. A committee that later asks for twelve extra folios pays for that paper; it is not folded into the first figure.
