Terms of commission

These terms cover letters, visits, and commissioned studies arranged with Notion Anchor Analytics Co., Ltd. (“the studio”), registered in Thailand and working from 67/1 Pradit Manutham Road, Lat Phrao, Lat Phrao, Bangkok 10230. They apply to the Circulation Atlas, Desk Watch, Holds Shelf Reading, Chart Hour, and any written variant we confirm in a letter.

Acceptance

A commission begins when you accept our confirming letter, including the fee, the season or day, and the deposit where one is required. Browsing this website, or sending an enquiry, does not by itself create a commission. If you accept by email, keep a copy; we will keep ours for the retention period described in the privacy notice.

You confirm that you have authority to invite us into the library and to share the slips, stamp books, or printouts the work requires. If a registrar or a board must approve that sharing, obtain the approval before the first visit.

The work

We read the records you provide, draw the agreed sheets, and deliver them in the form named in the letter: a bound folio and briefing, a short note, a booklet, or a staff sitting. The study describes the season or day we were shown. Later loan rules remain the committee’s to set.

We do not remove the live circulation register from the library. Photocopies or printouts you hand us are returned as stated in the commission letter.

Intellectual property

Loan records, shelf lists, and reader-facing slips remain your library’s. Copyright in the drawings, the binding design of our folios, and the wording we write belongs to the studio. On payment of the agreed fee we grant the commissioning library a licence to copy the folio or note for internal committee and staff use. The licence does not include selling the folio as a publication, or presenting the sheets as the work of another studio.

The text and photographs on this website belong to the studio unless a caption says otherwise. You may share a link. You may not copy a page onto another site and present it as your own guide.

Fees

Rates published on the fees page are a guide. The confirming letter states the fee for your rooms and records. Deposits, balances, and bank transfer details are in that letter. Payment is made by transfer against that letter.

Liability

We prepare the study with care from the records supplied. We are not liable for a decision your committee makes after reading it, for stock you buy or decline to buy, or for a column we misread after your staff confirmed the heading and the draft was accepted. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that the laws of Thailand do not allow us to limit.

Where a limit is allowed, our total liability arising from one commission is capped at the fees you paid for that commission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. The courts of Bangkok have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
